Individual insurance coverage is one person or family coverage. This type of insurance is not guaranteed issued. Once a client contacts Leady Benefits, all client information is obtained for each individual (name, birthdate, smoker status and any and all medications or health conditions for each person). This process is important as some conditions are not covered and our policy is to be honest and up front. Leady Benefits is known for advising correctly and honestly in the evnt that a medical condition may be subject to a payment increase or certain conditions being "ridered out" (not covered). Clients are then quizzed on preferred physicians in order to select the correct insurance carrier network. It is common to have a level of comfort with a physician and Leady Benefits works dilligently to provide this opportunity along with affordable insurance coverage for all of their clients.

After our initial client consultation a decision regarding a particular coverage is made. There are several ways a client can apply. Insurance applications can be completed online, faxed to us with credit card payment, or we can visit and take the application in person, if that is logistically smart. In most cases the application process can be done without visitation. Once the application is sent, there will most likely be a "telephone interview" with the client and all applicants that are over the age of 18 for the particular carrier they have chosen.

In some cases the underwriter/insurance carrier, may request medical records on a certain individual, especially if there are medical conditions involved. Once the underwriting is completed, coverage is approved as applied for, rated up if there are any medical conditions, or possibly declined. Leady Benefits follows up on the case once a week or sooner if need be and keeps the client updated on the progress. Once approved we advise the client to be sure to contact us first to avoid them having to call the insurance carrier. Through our experiences the answers to some questions are within our grasps and can be answered quickly and conveniently. This applies to claims, billing and any changes to insurance plans.
